Dogs and Condors clash for two

Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release


LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced today that they will battle their Pacific Division Rival, the Bakersfield Condors, in two pre-season exhibition games. It will be the first meeting between the two teams since Bakersfield beat Long Beach in seven games in the first round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs last April.

Game One of the home and home pre-season match-up will take place on Friday, October 13th at 7:30 PM at the Glacial Gardens in Lakewood, CA. Season ticket holders may purchase tickets for $3, and non-season ticket holders may purchase them for $5. Tickets are first come first served basis and are available day of the game at Glacial Gardens in Lakewood. (3975 Pixie Street, 562-429-1805)

The Ice Dogs will travel to Bakersfield on Saturday, October 14th at 7 PM at the Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, CA. Tickets for the game are $10 for the lower level, $5 for the terrace. Tickets are available by calling the Condors ticket office at (661) 324-PUCK.

Long Beach was 3-1-3 vs. Bakersfield last season but lost to the Condors in seven games in the first round of the Kelly Cup play-offs last spring. The two teams will square off eight times this year including the second game of the season in Long Beach on Sunday, October 22nd at 5 PM.
