Albuquerque Isotopes News Release

Rockies pitcher Jorge De La Rosa joins the Isotopes today to begin his rehab assignment. The southpaw is recovering from a left groin strain, the same injury that caused De La Rosa to rehab with the Isotopes in 2015. In five starts with Colorado this season, De La Rosa has registered a 1-3 record to go along with a 10.18 ERA (23er/20.1ip). He will wear number 29 for the Isotopes and start today's contest against the Tacoma Rainiers.

Also joining Albuquerque on a rehab assignment today is Rockies infielder Daniel Descalso. The 29-year-old infielder is recovering from a fractured right hand, which has kept him out of game action in 2016. Descalso will wear jersey number 35.
