From the Notes

Magnificent Mengden: Right-hander Daniel Mengden had another shutout performance and matched a career-high seven innings in yesterday's 3-2 win. The Houston, Texas native has not allowed a run in 13 innings pitched - the second longest scoreless innings streak of the season to date. Despite his two stellar starts this week, Mengden was not named Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week - an award that went to Fresno's Brady Rodgers.

Redbird Roast: Third baseman Renato Nunez has had a big series against Memphis as he has hit safely in all three games. He's hitting .500 (6-for-12) with 2 runs, 1 RBI, 2 doubles and 1 walk.
