SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 10, 2014) - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced Friday that defenseman Shayne Taker has been reassigned to the club's ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.
Taker, 24, was signed to an Amateur Tryout Contract with the Rampage on April 7, 2014. He skated in five games with San Antonio, making his professional debut on April 11 against the Texas Stars. He tallied four goals and 14 assists in 40 games with Notre Dame last season. The 6-4, 208-pound Surrey, BC native completed his four-year collegiate career with eight goals and 39 assists in 152 games.

The Rampage open their 13th American Hockey League season Friday night against the Iowa Wild. Puck drop is slated for 7:30 p.m., and it's a MIX $1 Drink Night at the AT&T Center.
