CINCINNATI, Ohio - The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that they have acquired forwards Dan Eves and Samson Mahbod from the South Carolina Stingrays in exchange for forward Ryan Del Monte.
Eves, a third year pro, joins the Cyclones after playing 26 games this season with the South Carolina Stingrays. During that stretch, he posted seven points (2 goals, 5 assists) and 19 penalty minutes (PIM). He also skated in 21 of Cincinnati's 24 Kelly Cup Playoff contests last year en route to the Kelly Cup Championship.
