Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce forward Brady Leisenring has been loaned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL.
Leisenring being loaned to Bridgeport marks the 13th time this season that a member of the K-Wings has been sent up to the AHL.
On the season, Leisenring has earned 12 points (5 goals, 7 assists) in 20 games this season with Kalamazoo. Leisenring, who has played in nine games this season with Bridgeport, returned yesterday for the K-Wings against the Trenton Devils. Last night, Leisenring earned no points in the K-Wings 4-1 victory at the Sun National Bank Center.
Leisenring, who participated in the training camp with the Sound Tigers, will get reunited with K-Wings Wes O'Neill, Riley Gill and Brandon Svendsen, who are currently on the Bridgeport roster.
The K-Wings will return home this Saturday, February 12th with a 7:30 p.m. versus the Greenville Road Warriors on Boy Scout Night and a Saturday "Celebrity" Series featuring Mayor Bobby Hopewell and the Killamazoo Derby Darlins.
