EDUCATION IN HOCKEY DAY

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: The Cyclones hope to get back on the winning track tonight as they welcome the Greenville Road Warriors to the Queen City for the only time this season. Cincinnati leads the all-time series with the Road Warriors by a 6-4-0-2 count and have earned points in four of the five meetings at 100 Broadway.

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: STAR WARS NIGHT - May the Force be with You as we pay homage to one of the greatest movie sagas of all time! The Cyclones will wear specialty jerseys that will get auctioned off after the game to benefit Most Valuable Kids. Plus, the first 1,500 fans ages 2-12 will receive a FREE Cyclones Lightsaber!

SCOUTING THE ROAD WARRIORS: Dean Stork's club has struggled out of the gate, going 4-7 while posting the third-fewest average goals per game. As a result, they currently sit 12 points out of the South Division lead. Jordie Johnston leads the Road Warriors on offense, amassing nine points (5 goals, 4 assists) in 11 games. The next closest scorer, though, is Brandon Hynes who has collected four tallies (2 goals, 2 assists) in 9 contests. Another Achilles heel for this Greenville club has been it's plus-minus stability; as a team, they are -45 for the season. Connor Knapp has led the way in net, going 2-4 with a 2.18 goals-against average - good for the 13th best GAA in the ECHL. Rookie Jeff Malcolm has also seen action this year, going 1-2 with a 2.67 GAA in three appearances in 2013-14.

About Wednesday Night vs. Orlando: Forwards Zach Harrison and David Rutherford scored goals just 13 seconds apart in the third period to help lift the Solar Bears past the Cyclones by a 4-2 final score in front of 2,298 at U.S. Bank Arena. Wade Megan and David MacDonald posted goals for Cincinnati.

Four Score and Win: Offense has been the Cyclones' recipe for success this season. They are an impressive 6-0-0 when reaching the four-goal plateau.

Multi-Point Masters: The Cyclones have had a balanced attack all year long. All but three players have earned at least a point this season, while 11 of the team's skaters have notched multi-point games. Wade Megan is the leader in this category, with four such games.

Who Wants a Shot?: Cincy remains atop the ECHL on offense, averaging 4.22 goals per game. This is thanks in part to a strong average in shots on net. They're throwing 32.32 shots per night onto the opponent's net...the sixth best mark in the league.
