Christian Ouellete Signed by Jackals

ELMIRA, N.Y. - November 15, 2013 - The Elmira Jackals announced today that forward Christian Ouellet has been signed by the team.

Ouellet, 22, comes to Elmira after starting the season with four games for the ECHL's San Francisco Bulls. The Alma, Quebec native is in his second year as a pro after splitting last season between the Bulls and Gwinnett Gladiators. Ouellet, 6-0, 195-pounds, finished 16th among ECHL rookies last year with 37 points (17 goals, 20 assists) in 66 games. He also added three assists in five Kelly Cup playoff games with the Bulls.

Prior to turning pro, Ouellet notched 162 points (61 goals, 101 assists) in 235 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League games between Gatineau and Chicoutimi.
