Chiodo and Haines Suspended

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, announced today that the rights to G Andy Chiodo and D Kyle Haines have been suspended by the team. Both left the team to pursue other opportunities.

"Both players have left the team to pursue lucrative offers overseas," Condors General Manager John Olver said. "We thank them for their time here and wish them the best with their playing careers."

Raiderettes in town Saturday:

Saturday the Condors host the Ontario Reign for a 7 p.m. showdown. The first 2,000 fans 17 and under will get their choice between a 49ers or a Raiders youth football, sponsored by Fox Sports Radio 970 AM and Bakersfield Marriott. The first team whose footballs run out will be determined the favorite NFL team of Condorstown. The Oakland Raiderettes also will be in attendance, sponsored by Bud Light.
