Cincinnati Cyclones News Release

The Cyclones equaled their longest win streak of the season with a 3-1 victory over Alaska on Friday night in Anchorage. The win marks the third consecutive victory for the Cyclones and the second in two games in Alaska. Garrett Prosofsky was spectacular for the Clones for the second consecutive game. Prosofsky had two goals and an assist to give him seven points (4g, 3a) in his last two games.

Phil Lewandowski started the scoring 59 seconds into the first when he scored his second in his last two games. Lewandowski's 14th of the season staked the Clones to a 1-0 lead. Garrett Prosofsky extended that lead to 2-0 when he scored on the power play at the 12:38 mark of the period.

Shane Palahicky scored for the Aces as a Cyclones penalty expired with 17:16 left in the first. Palahicky's goal was the only shot to elude Tyler Masters on the night. Masters made 36 saves in recording his seventh victory of the year. Master was spectacular on many Alaska opportunities through the second and third periods.

Prosofsky would score his second marker of the night into an empty net with 32 seconds left in the game. Prosofsky leads the Cyclones with 22 goals on the season.

The Cyclones are back in action on Saturday in Alaska. Game time is 11:00 p.m. eastern time pre-game show on sportsjuice.com. The pre-game show gets underway at 10:50 p.m. eastern time.
