Curve Ticket Office Open this Weekend, Gates to Swing Open Early on Fourth of July

CURVE, Pa. - With a large crowd expected on Monday, July 4th for the Curve-Aeros game on Independence Day at BCB, the box office windows at Blair County Ballpark will have extended hours this weekend for those wishing to purchase their tickets in person.

The ticket offices will be open on Friday, July 1st from 9 a.m. t o 10 p.m. and also on Saturday, July 2nd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to give fans easier access to purchase their tickets in person.

On Monday, gates for the 7 p.m. game versus the Aeros will open earlier than normal with the anticipation of the large crowd. Season-ticket holder gates for the Monday night game will open up at 5:30 p.m. (20 minutes earlier than normal) while regular gates will open at 5:45 p.m. (15 minutes earlier than normal).

Because of the anticipated volume of attendees at Blair County Ballpark and Lakemont Park, traffic may experience slower periods on and around Park Avenue on July 4. Curve fans are urged to allow extra time to reach the ballpark and to safely follow the direction of traffic officers.

Monday night's game with Akron will features a Fireworks Spectacular after the game thanks to the Pennsylvania Lottery. Kids will be able to run the bases after the game as well.
