Tonight, the SeaWolves look for their third straight win as they begin a four-game series with the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) at Jerry Uht Park. The 'Wolves took down the Binghamton Mets on Wednesday afternoon 9-3, evening their record back to 39-39. The 'Wolves are 5.5 games behind first place Harrisburg and 2.5 games behind second place Richmond...Akron enters play tonight as the hottest team in the league, winning their last six games and completing a three-game sweep of Bowie...Tonight, righty Jacob Turner makes his 14th start and second against the Aeros. He beat Akron on May 9 allowing an unearned run on five hits with three walks and six strikeouts. Turner took his second loss of the season in his last start at Richmond on June 25. In the game, he allowed three runs on five hits with two walks and eight strikeouts in seven innings of work. Erie lost the game 6-2. Turner enters the game as the ninth-best pitcher in the league with a 3.01 ERA. His opponents batting average of .217 ranks as the fifth-best in the EL...Lefty Kelvin De La Cruz takes the mound for Akron making his 16th appearance, 15th start and second start against the SeaWolves. He beat Erie on May 11, shutting out the 'Wolves allowing two hits in five innings with four walks and seven strikeouts. He took a no-decision in his last start against Reading allowing a run on seven hits with four walks and two strikeouts in 3.2 innings...Rawley Bishop is hitting .400 over his last 10 games (14x35).
