Lake Erie Crushers News Release
Avon, Oh - The Lake Erie Crushers are not only focusing on taking over the top of the standings, but also on helping raise awareness and donations for breast cancer. On Saturday, August 17, the boys of All Pro Freight Stadium will be hosting a car wash with proceeds going to Susan G. Komen- Northeast Ohio. Aside from the proceeds that will go to Susan G. Komen- Northeast Ohio on Friday night from the specialty jersey auction, pink lemonade and mini bat sales, the players wanted the opportunity to give back too.
"It was all their idea. The guys wanted to give back in their own way and they decided on the classic idea of a car wash", said Crushers manager Jeff Isom.
The car wash will be held in the parking lot at All Pro Freight Stadium on Saturday morning from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. All your favorite Crushers players including manager, Jeff Isom, will be in attendance washing cars for a great cause.
