
Crunch Sign Three Players From College Ranks

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed defenseman Grant Clitsome, right wing Matt Fornataro and center Mike Radja to amateur try-out contracts.
Clitsome, 22, appeared in 39 games with Clarkson (ECAC) this season, registering 5 goals, 17 assists and 28 penalty minutes. Clitsome appeared in 150 games over four years at Clarkson, notcheing 16 goals, 57 assists and 122 penalty minutes. A native of Gloucester, Ontario, Clitsome was drafted by Columbus in the 9th round, 271st overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Fornataro, 22, appeared in 38 games with the University of New Hampshire (Hockey East) this season, tallying 18 goals, 28 assists and 44 penalty minutes. A native of Calgary, Alberta, Fornataro appeared in 156 games over four years at UNH, tallying 44 goals, 74 assists and 138 penalty minutes. He ranked sixth in Hockey East in scoring this season and earned Hockey East Honorable Mention honors and ranked tenth in the league in scoring in the 2006-07 season.
Radja, 23, appeared in 36 games with UNH this season, tallying 19 goals, 24 assists and 32 penalty mintues. A native of Yorkville, Illinois, Radja appeared in 149 games over four years at UNH, collecting 54 goals, 63 assists and 98 penalty minutes. He ranked third in scoring in Hockey East this season and was a Hockey East All-Conference Honorable Mention selection in 2006-07.
