Senators Recall Left Wing Nick Foligno

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Ottawa Senators recalled today left wing Nick Foligno from the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.

This is the fifth recall of the season for Foligno, who has recorded six goals, three assists and 20 penalty minutes in 44 games with Ottawa. He played his first NHL game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Oct. 3 and scored his first goal against Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens on Oct. 18.

In 28 games with the B-Sens, the 20-year-old has six goals, 13 assists and 16 penalty minutes.

With five games remaining in the regular season, Binghamton is in fifth place in the AHL's East Division with 79 points from 33 wins, 29 losses, eight overtime losses and five shootout losses. The club's next game is tonight, when it hosts the Hershey Bears.

Foligno was Ottawa's first-round pick, 28th overall, in the 2006 NHL entry draft.
