Coyotes Recall Goaltender Matt Climie from San Antonio

(GLENDALE, ARIZONA) --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled goaltender Matt Climie from the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate.

The 6-foot-3, 194-pound Climie has played 18 games with the Rampage, posting a 13-5-2 record with a 2.45 Goals Against Average and a .924 Save Percentage. At the time of his recall, Climie was tied for second overall among AHL goaltenders in wins (13) and fifth overall in saves (522). He has a record of 4-1-0 in his last five games.

The 27-year-old native of Leduc, Alberta signed with the Coyotes as a free agent on July 3, 2010. In 2009-10 Climie appeared in 43 games with Texas Stars (AHL), posting a record of 21-17-3 with a 2.46 GAA and a .919 SV%.
