Coyotes Re-Assign Thomas To Rampage

SAN ANTONIO (February 15, 2008) - The Phoenix Coyotes today assigned right wing Bill Thomas to the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes' top affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Thomas, 24, has recorded 32 points (16 goals, 16 assists) with 28 penalty minutes (PIM) in 46 games with the Rampage this season, and has also played in seven games for the Coyotes.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Thomas has registered 65 points (29g, 36a) and 48 PIM in 93 career AHL games. He was selected to play in the 2007 AHL All-Star Game but was unable to participate due to a call-up to Phoenix.

Thomas made his NHL debut on Mar. 28, 2006 after signing with the Coyotes as a free agent. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native has collected 17 points (9g, 8a) in 40 career NHL games.
