
Devils Receive Pelley From New Jersey

LOWELL, Mass. - The Lowell Devils announced that center Rod Pelley has been loaned to Lowell by the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League.
Pelley, 23, returns to Lowell, where he spent the majority of his rookie season last year. The Kitimat, BC-native was tied for fourth on the team with 17 goals, while also contributing 12 assists and 35 penalty minutes in 65 games. This year with New Jersey, Pelley has posted six points (2g, 4a) and 14PIM in 54 contests.
Pelley was a four-year letterman at the Ohio State University, playing alongside current Lowell goaltender Dave Caruso. With the Buckeyes, Pelley totaled 47 goals, 41 assists and 160 penalty minutes over 165 games.
Lowell completes its three-game road stretch on Friday, February 15 at 7:05 p.m. against the Manchester Monarchs.
