AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. . The American Hockey League today announced that Rochester Americans defenseman Mike Weber has been suspended for two (2) games as a result of his actions during an AHL game vs. Grand Rapids on Feb. 10.

Weber was assessed a major penalty and a game misconduct for checking from behind at 19:23 of the third period.

Weber will miss Rochester's games tonight (Feb. 15) vs. Hershey and Saturday (Feb. 16) at Syracuse.
