Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the second straight night, the Kalamazoo Wings will visit Lucas County Arena to battle the Toledo Walleye. Kalamazoo trails the season series against Toledo with a record of 0-1-2-0 and has lost both visits to Lucas County Arena with identical 5-4 overtime defeats.
One victory in their last seven games has created a log jam a top of the North Division standings. Earning a point in last night's overtime loss gives the K-Wings a one point lead over the Cincinnati Cyclones for first. Tonight is also the last road game in 2009 for Kalamazoo.
After suffering through a three-game losing streak last week, the Walleye are now heading in the right direction with a three-game unbeaten streak (2-0-0-1). With 22 points, Toledo remains in third place in the North and are three points behind Cincinnati for second and trail Kalamazoo by four points for first.
