North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays battle the Elmira Jackals tonight at 7:05 p.m. at North Charleston Coliseum in Tailgate Saturday and Used Car Giveaway Night.
Tonight is the second of three scheduled meetings between the two teams this season and the first in North Charleston Coliseum. South Carolina is 3-1-0 against Elmira all-time. Tonight is also Tailgate Saturday and Used Car Giveaway Night! Bring the food, the music and the FUN! You could also walk away with Stingrays Head Coach Cail MacLean's car! Tomorrow, December 6, is our annual Teddy Bear Toss benefiting Debi's Kids and the Salvation Army as the Stingrays battle the Elmira Jackals at 4:00 p.m. Bring a stuffed animal to the game and get ready to throw it on the ice after the Stingrays score their first goal! Sunday is also Kid's Day featuring $5 kid's tickets and pregame kid's carnival. Camp Bow Wow will be on the main concourse for Adopt-a-Dog Sundays featuring the Adoptable Dog of the Night.
Note of the Night: Stingrays forward Matt Fornataro has scored five assists and eight points in his last four games.
Home Sweet Home The Stingrays return home to North Charleston Coliseum for only their fifth home game in the past six weeks. Only four home dates were played in the month of November compared to eleven road contests.
Offensive Defenseman Stingrays defenseman Zach Tarkir leads the Stingrays with two points against Elmira and ranks 4th among ECHL defenseman with 15 points.
