Countdown to Face-Off: Kalamazoo Wings vs Reading Royals

For the second time this weekend and for the fifth time this season, the Kalamazoo Wings will take on the Reading Royals. On the season, the K-Wings are 3-1-0-0 versus the defending Kelly Cup champions, including a 4-3 victory last Friday at Wings Stadium.

Tonight ends a brief two-game home stand for the K-Wings. After this evening, Kalamazoo will play four out of their next five, including three straight, on the road. With 45 points, the K-Wings are five points out of first place in the North Division.

Last Friday, the K-Wings ended the Royals' seven-game winning streak with a 4-3 victory at Wings Stadium. However, Reading rebounded yesterday with a 4-1 win against the Toledo Walleye. This afternoon, the Royals will play their third of six straight road games.
