Orlando, FL - Looking to bounce back from suffering their first road sweep of the season, the Florida Everblades are back in the Sunshine State for a 3:00pm Sunday showdown with the Orlando Solar Bears at the Amway Center.
After being dealt back-to-back losses Friday and Saturday at South Carolina, the Blades sit just two points ahead of the streaking Solar Bears for second place in the South Division standings and fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
Orlando has been off since a 4-3 home win over Gwinnett on Thursday, while the Blades are playing their third game in three nights-and second in less than 24 hours.
The Blades will be without the services of defenseman Charles Landry, who was suspended earlier Sunday following a game misconduct penalty he was assessed late in the second period Saturday against the Stingrays.
Sunday marks the Blades' final regular season visit to the Amway Center, where they are 3-2-0-0 so far in 2013-14.
With sole possession of second place on the line, Sunday's critical rematch will be broadcast live online at FloridaEverblades.com and on the Everblades' app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, with a video webcast available through America ONE, the official broadband and mobile broadcaster of the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 2:45pm.
