Game Preview
Finishing up a two-game home stand, the Kalamazoo Wings will host the Fort Wayne Komets. Tonight is the 13th of 15 regular season encounters between the teams. On the season, the K-Wings are 4-7-1-0 against the Komets.
Tonight starts a busy week for the K-Wings. Kalamazoo will play five games in a span of seven days. With 59 points, the K-Wings are in third place in the North Division, one point ahead of the Cincinnati Cyclones, two points in front of the Wheeling Nailers and three points ahead of Indy Fuel.

Earlier today, the K-Wings completed a trade with the Evansville IceMen for the ECHL rights of forward Patrick Kennedy. In return, Kalamazoo will send Evansville Ray Kaunisto and future considerations.

Kane Lafranchise has made an impact for the K-Wings. Lafranchise has earned points in seven out his nine games with Kalamazoo.
