Americans Get Defenseman DiPaolo from Springfield of the AHL

Americans Defenseman Mike DiPaolo

Allen, Texas -The Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League have reassigned defenseman Mike DiPaolo from the Ontario Reign to the Allen Americans.
DiPaolo, 21, played in 24 games with the Ontario Reign this season, scoring three points and adding 78 penalty minutes. He also played in six games with the Kalamazoo Wings, scoring one goal and adding 16 penalty minutes.
The 6'4, 215-pound defenseman played major junior hockey last season in Canada, splitting time between the Charlottetown Islanders and the Sarnia Sting.
The Allen Americans return to action on Friday night in Rapid City against the Rush. The Americans return home next week for games on March 17th and 18th against the Wichita Thunder. Call (972) 912-1000 for tickets.
