Countdown to Face-Off: Kalamazoo Wings at Toledo Walleye

For the final time this season, the Kalamazoo Wings will take on the Toledo Walleye. On the season the K-Wings are 7-4-0-1 versus the Walleye, which includes a record of 2-3-0-0 at the Huntington Center. Toledo gave Kalamazoo their worse loss of the season, a 5-1 decision, in their last meeting on March 30th.

Tonight is the final game of a season-long six-game road swing for the K-Wings. So far, Kalamazoo is 2-3-0-0 during the trip. The K-Wings are closing in their fourth North Division crown in the past five seasons. Kalamazoo's magic number to clinch the division is three points.

The Walleye come into Huntington Center trying to snap a streak. Toledo will look to snap a four-game losing streak. The Walleye's last victory was back on March 30th against the K-Wings. In fact, with a record of 3-9-0-1 in their last 13 games, two of Toledo's victories during that stretch have come against Kalamazoo.
