K-Wings Martin Loaned to Iowa, Kattelus Recalled to Chicago

Kalamazoo, MI- Roster movement for the Kalamazoo Wings will continue during the last weekend of the regular season. Goaltender Joel Martin has been loaned to the American Hockey's Iowa Wild, while forward Eric Kattelus has been recalled to the Chicago Wolves.

In 33 games this season, Martin has gone 19-9-1-4 with a 2.89 goals-against average, a 0.906 save percentage and has earned three shutouts.

Kattelus has recorded 35 points (14 goals, 21 assists) in 37 games with the K-Wings.

Martin and Kattelus become the 25th and 26th members of the K-Wings this season to be either reassigned or loaned to an AHL club.

In Martin's absence, the K-Wings have signed goaltender Jordan Neamontis (NEE-ah-mon-uh-tis). Neamonitis played in the Federal Hockey League with the Danville Dashers. Neamonitis does bring playoff experience to Kalamazoo. During the 2010-11 season, Neamonitis made 51 saves to help the Chi-Town Shooters defeat the Battle Creek Revolution in Game One on All-American Hockey League Davidson Cup Finals.

Kalamazoo will conclude their season long six-game road swing tonight, Friday, April 11th with a 7:15 p.m. face-off versus the Toledo Walleye.

Tickets for the final regular season game on Saturday, April 12th versus the Evansville IceMen and K-Wings playoff home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000. Ticket office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Individual regular season ticke t prices for home games are $13 and $17.50 for adults and only $7 for kids ages 12 and under. Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single-game tickets in advance. Tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $2 (adults only).

K-Wings Pepsi playoff tickets are also available. Thanks to Pepsi, the first 2,500 fans that purchase tickets specifically for game one of round one will enjoy a special $4 ticket price. These special $4 tickets for game one are part of the team's 2013-14 season long 40th Anniversary celebration and reflect ticket prices from the K-Wings Inaugural 1974-75 season.

Regular pricing for all other K-Wings Pepsi Playoff games are $17 and $20 for adults and only $8 for children 12 and under. Also, courtesy of Pepsi, the team is offering special $10 tickets for groups of 15 or more throughout the playoffs.
