Game Preview
For the second straight night, the Kalamazoo Wings will tangle with the Fort Wayne Komets. Tonight is the 11th of 15 regular season encounters between the teams. Kalamazoo defeated Fort Wayne last night 6-3 at Wings Stadium. On the season, the K-Wings are 4-5-1-0 against the Komets.
This evening starts a season-long five-game road swing for the K-Wings. Kalamazoo begin the night looking to extend a season-long seven-game (5-0-0-2) road unbeaten streak. With 44 points, the K-Wings start the night tied with the Cincinnati Cyclones for third place in the North Division.
Looking for redemption the Komets return home. Not only did Fort Wayne lose last night to Kalamazoo, but the Komets have dropped their last three contests to the K-Wings. With 61 points, the Komets are tied with the Toledo Walleye for first place in the North Division.
