ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Greg Wolfe earned four points (2g-2a), Brendan Connolly scored twice, and ten other teammates hit the scoresheet to help the Alaska Aces rout the Stockton Thunder, 7-2 in a victory before 4,083 fans at Sullivan Arena on Friday.

The blowout victory produced an Aces season high in goals (7) for a game and in power play goals (3), while giving Johan Gustafsson a victory in a 28 save effort. Alaska led wire-to-wire, improving to 4-2-1 on their season long nine-game homestand.

Connolly pumped the first two goals of the game past Stockton goaltender Cody Reichard for a 2-0 lead after one period, first on a one-timer from between the circle, set up by Wolfe at 3:45 and then on a rebound power play goal, from the right circle, with 9:57 remaining after Francis misfired a wrister off the post.

Wolfe buried a deflected pass from Bryan Cameron at the left circle at 1:08 of the second period for a 3-0 cushion, but Stockton jumped back into the game on an Adam Phillips one-timer (power play goal) at 4:51 and Tyler Maxwell's finish at the net, set up from Tyler Shattock at 12:18.

The third Aces power play goal of the night, a Tim Coffman rebound at the right post, restored the two-goal edge to 4-2 with 5:26 left after Ryan Tesink won an offensive zone draw, setting up Quinn Sproule's point shot.

The Aces put the game out of reach early in the third period, on Cameron's breakaway goal at 1:27 for a 5-2 lead then Justin Breton's missile from the right circle, off the rush just one minute later.

Wolfe finished the rout with a shorthanded breakaway goal, glove side on Reichard, with 3:25 to go for a 7-2 lead.

Reichard, who played in the game with emergency backup Jeff Barney on the bench, made 38 saves in the loss.
