It will be a divisional clash on Vanrick Drive, as the Kalamazoo Wings host the Evansville IceMen this evening at Wings Stadium. Kalamazoo holds a slight advantage in the season series with a record 3-2-0-0 against Evansville.
Snapping a two-game winning streak last night, the K-Wings were shutout for the first time this season in a 2-0 setback against the Toledo Walleye. Tonight will conclude a three-game home stand for the K-Wings, who are 9-8-0-0 at Wings Stadium this season.
In fifth place in the North Division, the IceMen are only two points behind the K-Wings for fourth. Concluding a six-game home stand (2-4-0-0) with a 5-1 victory over the Orlando Solar Bears last night, the IceMen will travel to Kalamazoo looking to snap a six-game (0-4-0-2) road winless streak.

Roster Moves Earlier today, the K-Wings made several transactions. Kalamazoo placed forward Brett Lysak on the 21-Day IR; Sam Ftorek was placed on the team's reserve list, while claiming defenseman John Kivisto from the Toledo Walleye.
Good After One
When the K-Wings lead after the first period, they usually are victorious. Kalamazoo is 5-2-1-0 in games leading after the opening 20 minutes.
Rebounding
Including last night, the K-Wings have been shut out seven times in their ECHL history. In their previous six occasions, Kalamazoo is 3-2-0-1 in games following them being held scoreless.
Nearing a Milestone Forward Nick Sirota is closing in a personal milestone. Sirota is three assists shy of 100 in his career.
