Bulls Complete Third-Period Comeback, Take Down Eagles, 4-3

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - A third-period comeback powered by two Peter Sivak goals gave the San Francisco Bulls (13-17-1-4) a 4-3 win over the visiting Colorado Eagles (17-15-1-2) in front of 5,231 fans, Friday night at the Cow Palace. Daniil Tarasov had three assists, and ECHL All-Star Dean Ouellet had two points in the victory for the Bulls, who have earned points in four straight games (2-0-0-2).

The Eagles scored the first goal of the game on the power play with 2:46 remaining in the first period. With Jordan Morrison in the box for slashing, Joey Sides scored on a tip play in front of Bulls goalie Taylor Nelson. Sides' 11th goal of the season was assisted by Collin Bowman and Michael Forney.

The Bulls found the equalizer in the second period on the power play with 5:48 remaining in the period. Ouellet found the back of the net for his team-leading 17th goal of the season. Rob Kwiet and Tarasov picked up the assists. The Eagles took the lead back with 46 seconds remaining in the period. Sides found the puck in the slot and roofed it past Nelson for his second goal of the night. Teegan Moore and Devin DiDiomete assisted on Sides' 12th goal of the season.

The Bulls quickly tied the game in the third period with their second power play goal of the game. Quick passing by Ouellet and Tarasov led to a slam-dunk goal for Kwiet. His sixth goal of the season came at 6:44 of the third period to tie the game, 2-2. The Bulls then took a 3-2 lead courtesy of a beautiful Sivak wrist shot over the shoulder of Colorado goalie Adam Brown at 7:39. Sivak's 12th goal of the season was assisted by Jordan Morrison and Scott Langdon. Sivak quickly found the net again for his second goal of the game to give the Bulls a 4-2 advantage. Tarasov and Morrison picked up the assists on the goal with 9:50 remaining in the period. Colorado found the net one more time with 1:05 remaining in the game. Sides scored to complete his hat-trick.

The Bulls continue their home stand on Thursday against the Idaho Steelheads at 7:15. It's Thirsty Thursday at the Cow Palace. At select concessions, purchase two 12 ounce domestic draft beers and get BOTH beers half off.
