
Cougars Unveil Music Garden, Presented by the Acres Group

GENEVA, Ill. - The Kane County Cougars unveiled the new Cougars Music Garden, presented by the Acres Group, on Saturday ahead of the first summer concert of the season. As the official landscaper of the Kane County Cougars, the Acres Group worked with the Cougars to provide a tranquil space for fans to enjoy a quality view of the pre-game entertainment throughout the summer.
The Cougars Music Garden, presented by the Acres Group, features a permanent stage for the Summer Saturday Concert Series as well as other pre-game events. The unveiling preceded the first concert of the season with a performance by 80's and 90's tribute hip hop group, Too White Crew. Fans with a ticket for a Cougars game on Saturday's from June to September will be allowed entrance into the ballpark at 4:30 for additional pre-game concerts throughout the season with remaining performances by Mr. Myers Band, Big Band Boom!, Trippin' Billies, Suburban Cowboys, American English, Hi Infidelity and Mike and Joe. All concerts will conclude by 6 p.m. to allow fans to reach their seats in time for a 6:30 p.m. start time.
"We'd like to thank the Acres Group for their impressive work in the Music Garden," said Cougars General Manager and Vice President, Curtis Haug. "We value our long-standing partnership and look forward to the remaining concerts this season as well as the landscaping and flower program they have planned throughout the ballpark."
"The music pavilion is a wonderful addition to the ballpark," added Cougars owner, Chery Froehlich. "We are thrilled to be able to provide this beautiful area for our fans, as well as the performers, to enjoy our Saturday Concert Series for many years to come."
