Snappers and Cougars Postponed

BELOIT, Wisc. - Tonight's game against the Kane County Cougars has been postponed due to inclement weather. There will be a doubleheader consisting of two 7 inning games that will start at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15th. The second game will start about 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Gates will open at 3:00 PM.
Tomorrow is also Suds and Spuds on the left field deck. Finch's Brewery will be taking over the taps. Fans over 21 will be able to enjoy unlimited samples of Finch's Hardcore Chimera Double IPA, Auld Codger Scotch Ale, Sobek and Set American Black Ale, Dock Worker Dark English Mild, Chimera IPA, and Secret Stache Stout for just $15. Custom gourmet baked potatoes will also be available for purchase on the left field deck from Vince's Gourmet Hotdogs and Spuds.
Beloit will send Kevin Johnson (0-1, 2.91 ERA) to the mound for game one and Dustin Hurlbutt (0-0, 2.57 ERA) for game two.
The Beloit Snappers are a member of the Midwest League and are a fourth year Class-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics.
