Peoria Chiefs News Release
The Peoria Chiefs and Clinton LumberKings were rained out on Tuesday in Iowa. The two teams will attempt to play two seven-inning games on Wednesday with the double header starting at 5:00 p.m. The Chiefs will start RHP Derian Gonzalez (4-0, 3.00) against Clinton RHP Nick Neidert (2-1, 1.66). Neither team has announced a starting pitcher for game two with spot starts expected out of the bullpen for both teams. The Chiefs lead Clinton by 1/2 game for first place in the MWL Western Division with a Magic Number for the Division Title at 7.
