Some of Evans' top songs include "No Place That Far", "Born to Fly" and "Suds in the Bucket". Evans was the first country music star to appear on the popular television show "Dancing with the Stars".
"We're thrilled to welcome Sara Evans for what will surely be a fantastic evening of music at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark," Cougars General Manager Curtis Haug said. "Located within the stadium grounds, our new music garden will be an ideal mid-sized concert and event setting while welcoming many visitors to Geneva. We are particularly appreciative of the Forest Preserve District of Kane County and the city of Geneva for their support of this initiative, and look forward to many great events held here."
American English, a popular Beatles tribute band, will perform at the Cougars music garden on Saturday, August 10 from 4-5:30 p.m. before the 6:30 p.m. Cougars game that evening, with a Cougars game ticket providing admission for the concert that afternoon. Gates will open at 3:30 p.m.
