GENEVA, Ill. - Friday night's game between the Kane County Cougars and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers was postponed by rain before it ever began. It will be made up Saturday afternoon at 4:30 CDT as part of a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games.
The Cougars (39-28) entered Friday tied for first place in the Western Division with Cedar Rapids with three first-half games remaining. Both clubs are one game ahead of Clinton.
Probable starters for Game 1 on Saturday are Matt Fitts (2-5, 4.86) for the Cougars and Evan Frederickson (3-3, 5.16) for Wisconsin.
