
Joey Votto to Join Dragons on Saturday

Dayton, Ohio-Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto will join the Dayton Dragons on a rehabilitation assignment on Saturday, June 20th.
Votto is currently on the Reds disabled list. He last played on May 29th.
Votto is batting .357 with eight home runs and 33 runs batted in with the Reds this season. He has appeared in 38 games.
Votto played for the Dragons in 2003 and 2004.
The Dragons will host West Michigan at Fifth Third Field at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be televised on WHIO Digital Channel 7.2 (Channel 708 on most Time Warner cable systems). Former Reds infielder Tommy Helms will provide color commentary on the broadcast.
