With one swing of the bat Kane County Cougar Myrio Richard gave the Cougars a two game lead over the Snappers for the final playoff spot as the Cougars came back late winning 4-3.

Early in the game the Snappers scored a pair of runs in the third inning as Snappers' catcher Danny Rams solo blast in the sixth gave the Snappers a 3-0 advantage.

The game quickly changed as the Cougars posted two runs in the eighth to cut the Snapper lead down to one. In the ninth with one out Mike Gilmartin reached on a fielding error by first baseman Michael Gonzales. Cougar's second baseman Conner Crumbliss struck out for the second out of the frame brining the Snappers one out away from tying up the wild card standings. Richard would not only tie the game, but would give the Cougars the 4-3 upper hand with his second home run of the season to deep left field.

The Snappers would fight back as the hot hitting Lance Ray led off the ninth with a double. Gonzales and Yorby Martinez would strike out looking with Josh Lansford getting Snapper outfielder Michael Harrington to ground out to end the game.

The "Brodie Trophy Player of the Game" is Danny Rams who belted a team high 15th home run.

The Snappers look for revenge Thursday night as they send All-Star right hander Tom Stuifbergen(6-2) to the hill with game time scheduled for 7:00PM.
