CLINTON, Iowa - The LumberKings struck for eight runs over the first two innings and never looked back on their way to a 14-5 win over the River Bandits on Wednesday.

Bandit starter Jorge Rondon (4-7) was charged with all eight runs over the first two innings and he never made it out of the second inning.

The River Bandits were able to score five, but never came close as the LumberKings cruised to victory. Devin Goodwin led the way at the plate for Quad Cities with a 3-for-4 game. The Bandits also used three home runs including a solo shot by Matt Adams, his league-leading 22nd of the season. Rainel Rosario and Colin Walsh hit the others.
