Burlington, IA (August 24, 2010) - The Bees scored ten in their final three trips to the plate on Tuesday night en route to a wild 11-8 win over Beloit at Community Field.

Catcher Ben Theriot led the charge, slicing three doubles and driving in four. His doubles in the seventh and eighth drove in two apiece. The one in the seventh gave the Bees a 6-4 advantage, but his services were needed again in the eighth after Chas Byrne yielded a pair of baserunners in the top half of the inning and Matt Morizio ceded a two-run single to Michael Harrington to knot the game back up at six. Theriot's double in the eighth served as the coup de grace, plating the Bees' fourth and fifth runs of the inning to give them an 11-6 advantage.

Morizio (W, 1-1) reentered in the ninth and allowed a pair of runs before locking down the win. He was able to do so on a night that saw the Bees assemble one of their most balanced offensive attacks of the season. Seven of the Bees' nine batters had at least one hit and one run driven in.

The Bees battled back for the first time in the sixth. With the Snappers up 4-1, Carlo Testa ripped his 14th triple of the year to open the inning, and came home one batter later when Jake Kuebler singled up the middle. Theriot followed with the first of his three two-baggers to give the team runners on second and third, and Jose Bonilla followed with a base hit to chase Snappers starter Pedro Guerra from the game. A run scored there to pull the Bees to within one, and Fernando Cruz brought the tying tally home when he beat out a throw to first on what could have been an inning-ending double play.

The Bees open a three-game series against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Wednesday night with the final Kids Eat Free Wednesday of 2010. All kids 12 and under receive a free hot dog and soda with their paid admission.
