THANK YOU CONDORS FANS!
This past Sunday, Condors fans helped two great causes! First, 316 coats were collected pre-game to benefit The Mission at Kern County and warm persons in need this winter. Following the game, the Condors auctioned off specialty Gettysburg Address themed jersey and brought in $21,500 for BARC. The auction included a $2,000 bid by ESPN star host Keith Olbermann! The auction total was the 13th highest in Condors history (among over 50 jersey auctions in 15-plus seasons). The Condors all-time jersey auction proceeds total was raised to $889,493.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13:
Community Relations Assistant Rachel Anderson and mascots will be making some special ticket deliveries to the six schools with the highest participation in the upcoming Field Trip Day Game. Congratulations Freedom Middle School, ABLE Program, Edison Middle School, North High School, Elk Hills Elementary and NAPD CCA!

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 14:
CONDORS FIELD TRIP DAY GAME: Join us - and about 4,000 kids on a field trip - for a 10:30 a.m. face off against the Stockton Thunder on Field Trip Day/Businessperson's Special Game sponsored by HOT 94.1. All tickets throughout the building are just $10. It's a perfect lunchtime getaway!
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16:
Baby Cal will march along in support of the JDRF 2013 Walk to Cure Diabetes being held at Yokuts Park at 9 a.m.
Walkers participate in a 5k and raise funds for people living with Type 1 Diabetes, while also funding research for a cure.
Colonel Claw'd chips in to help the environment during the Bakersfield Recycles event being hosted by AEG Management Bakersfield, the Bakersfield Condors, Aramark, and Keep Bakersfield Beautiful. The event is part of America Recycles Day, the only nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States. Community members are encouraged to bring in e-waste, household products, clothing, shoes, etc to the South Parking Lot of Rabobank Arena from 8 a.m. -1 p.m. In exchange for donating, participants will receive a coupon good for $2 off their ticket price to that night's Condors v. Ontario hockey game at 7:00 PM; additionally, participants who donate a TV or computer monitor will receive $5 off their ticket price for that game.
Colonel Claw'd would not make a very good Thanksgiving meal, but he will be helping collect turkeys for The Mission at Kern County during their Turkey Toss being held at Sonic on Rosedale Highway from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
FREE FOOTBALLS AND RAIDERETTES: The Condors host the Ontario Reign and the first 2,000 fans, 17 & under, will receive their choice of a 49ers or Raiders football presented by Fox Sports Radio 970 AM and Bakersfield Marriott. There will be 1,000 footballs of each team and whichever team's footballs run out first, they will be declared Condorstown's favorite team. Fans will also be treated to a s pecial appearance by the Oakland Raiders cheerleaders, the Raiderettes, who will perform on the ice and will take pictures up in the photo booth presented by Bud Light. Doors open at 6 p.m. the puck drops at 7 p.m. For tickets or information, call 324-PUCK (7825).
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17:
Baby Cal honors the winners of Kern County Family Week Creative Expressions Contest. Students will be rewarded in multiple age groups for their essays or artwork depicting "What My Family Means to Me". The awards ceremony is being held at Sequoia Middle School, 901 Belle Terrace, at 3 p.m.
KIDS CLUB PARTY:
All Kids Club members are invited to a Skate With The Team Party on Wednesday, December 4 from 5-8 p.m. at Rollerama West - 7850 Brimhall Rd. Hang with the players, play some Condors games and win some fun prizes!
Attendance is free for all Kids Club Members and includes skate rental, a slice of pizza, and all the autographs you can get! Not a Kids Club Member?
