SF Bulls Acquire Forward Kyle Bodie from Cincinnati for Future Considerations

SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today that forward Kyle Bodie has been acquired from the Cincinnati Cyclones in exchange for future considerations.

Bodie, 25, is in the midst of his first professional season. With the Cyclones this season, Bodie recorded a goal and an assist in seven games. The 6-foot, 180-pound, East St. Paul, Manitoba native spent four years with Union College of the NCAA. In 2011-12 and 2012-13, Bodie helped lead Union to back-to-back ECAC titles. In his junior and senior seasons, Bodie was in the top five in scoring on the team with 30 points and 33 points, respectively. In 122 games with Union, Bodie totaled 85 points (28 goals, 57 assists). Following his final season with Union, he earned the Coaches' Award at the Senior Banquet.

This weekend, the Bulls return home for three games, beginning with a two-game set against the Idaho Steelheads. Friday is a Schedule Poster Giveaway for all fans. Saturday is Cancer Awareness Night. The first 1,000 fans will receive a fake moustache to help support the Movember cause. The Bulls players are growing out their moustaches to help raise money to help fight prostate cancer. Click here to donate. On Sunday, when the Bulls host the Ontario Reign, it's Filipino Heritage Celebration. Plus, the first 1,000 kids, 13 and under, receive a "Frozen" Puck Giveaway, courtesy of Disney. The puck features images from the upcoming Disney Movie "Frozen."
