CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors (24-22-9-1, 58pts) scored eight for the first time in their AHL history and beat the San Jose Barracuda (26-23-3-3, 58pts) 8-4 on Friday night at Rabobank Arena. C Josh Currie had a hat trick, RW Patrick Russell had four points (2g-2a), and LW Joey LaLeggia had three assists. The win moved the Condors within six points of a playoff spot with 12 games remaining in the regular season.
The Condors are in San Diego Saturday night at 7 p.m.
