RED HOT CONDORS:

The Condors are currently riding a five-game unbeaten streak (4-0-1), which started with a 3-2 home victory over Phoenix on Jan. 12 and includes wins over the top two teams in the National Conference: the Las Vegas Wranglers and Victoria Salmon Kings. The Condors have also won their last three games at The Nest coming into tonight's contest against Idaho.

PROMOTIONAL NOTES:

The first 2,000 fans, 12-and-under, in attendance tonight will receive a Condors Zamboni Piggy Bank, courtesy of Pirate Radio 93.1 and the Bakersfield Californian.

PLAYER NOTES:

LW Mark Derlago is on a five-game goal streak (the longest current goal streak in the ECHL) with eight goals during the streak. He has scored two goals in each of his last three games and was a runner-up for the ECHL In Glas Co Player of the Week last week. C Tim Konsorada leads the team with 22 goals and 37 points. He is tied for fourth in the league in goals and tied for the league lead with four shorthanded tallies. Konsorada is on a four-game goal streak (4g) and five-game point streak (4g, 3a). F Sean Venedam recorded his 400th career assist last night, extending his assist streak to five games (6a). F Andrew Ianiero leads the team 21 assists, and is on a four game assist streak (5a). D Kevin Truelson is tied for third among the league's blueliners with eight goals and is seventh with 26 points.

SERIES HISTORY:

The Condors and Steelheads are meeting for the third time this season. Idaho claimed 2-1 wins in each of the previous meetings, which were both played at The Nest. Bakersfield is 31-42-9 all-time against the Steelheads. The two teams are set to meet five more times during the regular season after tonight, two more at The Nest and three times at Qwest Arena in Idaho.
