Comets Sign Jon Landry to AHL Contract

Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations Pat Conacher has announced that the club has signed defenseman Jon Landry to a standard player's contract (SPC).

Landry, 32, signed a professional tryout agreement (PTO) with the Comets on Nov. 20 and has recorded 10 points (3-7-10) in 19 games. During the 2014-15 season he recorded 14 points (3-11-14) and a team-leading +24-plus/minus rating in 64 games for the Hershey Bears.

The Montreal, PQ native is a veteran of 241 American Hockey League games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Iowa Wild, Hershey Bears, and Comets. He has collected 95 points (16-79-95), 169 penalty minutes, and a +35 rating.
