Coyotes Recall Scott, Assign Elliott to Springfield

Springfield, MA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled forward John Scott from the Springfield Falcons. The Coyotes have also assigned defenseman Stefan Elliott to the Falcons.

The 33-year-old Scott has collected 0-1-1 in 11 games with the Coyotes this season. The 6-foot-8, 260-pound native of Edmonton, Alberta has recorded 5-6-11 and 542 penalty minutes (PIM) in 285 career NHL games. Scott signed as a free agent on July 10, 2015.

The 24-year-old Elliott has appeared in 19 games and registered 2-4-6 with four PIM with the Coyotes. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound native of Vancouver, British Columbia was originally drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the second round (49th overall) in the 2009 Entry Draft.

The Falcons return to the MassMutual Center tonight for a 7:00 p.m. faceoff against the Hartford Wolf Pack. The Teddy Bear Pools and Spas chuck-a-puck grand prize has reached $3,600.
