CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors host the Texas Stars for No Snow Globe Giveaway, presented by Comedy 800. The Condors are coming off a 4-0 victory in their last game, and are 5-1-0-1 in their last seven home games.

PROMOTION: No Snow Globe Giveaway - presented by Comedy 800. The first 2,000 fans 5 and older get a No Snow Globe - considering we're in a drought and it doesn't snow in Condorstown, it just didn't make sense to put any water in it.

TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors wrap a three-game homestand against the Texas Stars. It is the fourth meeting of the season with Texas and Bakersfield is in search of their first victory. The teams each have one more home game left on the regular season calendar against each other.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Bakersfield recorded their second straight home shutout of Ontario last Saturday, 4-0. D Jordan Oesterle scored twice, RW Matthew Ford notched his 16th of the season, and G Eetu Laurikainen made 30 saves for his first North American professional shutout and his first victory as a Condor.
Texas starts a three-games-in-three-nights set in California fresh off a weekend sweep at home against Chicago. G Philippe Desrosiers stopped 48 shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Wolves. RW Brett Ritchie scored twice and C Justin Dowling notched three points with a goal and two assists.
KLINKHAMMER ASSIGNED TO BAKERSFIELD
LW Rob Klinkhammer was assigned to Bakersfield today after clearing waivers from the Edmonton Oilers. He has played 192 games in the NHL with 22 goals and 21 assists for 43 points. The 29-year old has significant American Hockey League experience with 212 points (82g-130a) in 396 career games. His most recent AHL stint came in 2012-13 where he posts 44 points (14g-30a) in 53 games with Portland.
CONDORS NOTES
C Jujhar Khaira has assists in two straight games since being assigned by the Oilers last week... Bakersfield is 10-2-1-2 when scoring three or more goals in a game. They touched up G Peter Budaj for four goals on Saturday, the first time he had surrendered four since late October... LW Josh Winquist (Nov. 11) and C Phil McRae (Nov. 1) are both expected to play their first games in over two months. Winquist is the Condors leading scorer against the Stars with four points (2g-2a)... RW Matthew Ford has 16 points (10g-6a) over his last 13 games and has been held without a point in only two games since Dec. 4.
STARS NOTES
Texas has scored the most goals in the AHL (3.82/gm) and surrendered the most goals in the league (3.49/gm)... C Jason Dickinson has a six-game point streak (3g-5a)... C Travis Morin has 17 points over his last 15 games (5g-12a)... The Stars will be without one of the top rookies in the AHL, C Devin Shore, who was injured on Dec. 11 and is not expected to return this season. Shore still leads the teams in goals with 15 despite having not played in over a month... The Stars are 2-0-1 in their last three games.
