Colorado Eagles News Release

Last Week's Games:

(Wednesday, Oct. 21st vs. Allen) The Allen Americans scored three goals in the third period to erase a 1-0 Eagles lead and capture the 3-1 victory at the Budweiser Events Center. Casey Pierro-Zabotel led the way for the Americans, posting a goal and an assist on the night. Meanwhile, Collin Bowman registered his 2nd goal of the season in the second period.

(Friday, Oct. 23rd @ Rapid City) Colorado's rally in the 3rd period fell short, as they lost to the Rapid City Rush 3-2 at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. Kyle Ostrow and Jesse Mychan both found the back of the net on the power play, as the Eagles went a perfect 2-for-2 on the man-advantage. Kris Lazaruk got the start in net for the Eagles and turned aside 15 of the 16 shots he faced, but left midway through the second period after suffering a lower-body injury.

(Saturday, Oct. 24th vs Rapid City) Rapid City's Winston Day Chief scored two goals, including the game-winner to pace the Rush to a 3-2 victory for Rapid City at the Budweiser Events Center. Eagles rookie forward Christian Isackson scored his first professional goal, while fellow forward Jesse Mychan scored his second goal in as many nights in the loss. Colorado held the Rush to an 0-for-1 mark on the man-advantage and have now killed off 11 consecutive opposition power plays.
