Collins' Travels Continue; Forward Recalled to AHL

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that forward Dusty Collins has been recalled to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.

Collins continues his whirlwind week. After being acquired by the Everblades last Friday in a trade with Ontario, Collins made his Everblades debut in last Saturday's 4-3 overtime win. The next day he was recalled to Toronto where he played in the Marlies' game on Sunday. Yesterday the 26-year-old was reassigned to the Everblades from Toronto, but heads to Oklahoma City today.

Collins has played in 11 games at the AHL level this season with San Antonio, Manitoba and Toronto. With Ontario and Florida in the ECHL this season the Gilbert, Arizona native has collected 26 points (9g, 17a) and 70 penalty minutes in 51 games.

Timkin Released

The Everblades also announced today that forward Evgeny Timkin has been released from his contract. The 20-year-old native of Murmasnk, Russia had seven assists in 35 games with the Everblades this season.

The Everblades return to action on Friday, March 18 when they travel to Gwinnett to take on the Gladiators at 7:35 p.m. from The Arena at Gwinnett Center. The Everblades' next home game is Wednesday, March 23 when they host the Wheeling Nailers at 7:30 p.m. from Germain Arena.
