MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Rich Seeley, announced that goaltender, Colin Stevens, has been reassigned to the Manchester Monarchs by the Portland Pirates (AHL).

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound native of Niskayuna, N.Y. has played in 20 games for the Monarchs this season, posting a 13-5-1 record, a 2.36 GAA and a 0.921 save percentage. Stevens returns to the Monarchs on a six-game winning streak dating back to Jan. 16. The first-year goaltender was called up to the AHL by the Pirates on Feb. 18, serving as the backup for the Pirates in two games.

Stevens played collegiately at Union College, winning a NCAA Division I National Championship in the 2013-14 season. That year, Stevens was named a Second Team All-American after putting up a 28-4-2 record, a 2.05 GAA and a 0.929 save percentage.

Stevens and the Monarchs are back in action Wednesday, Feb. 24 (7 p.m.) when they host the Adirondack Thunder at the Verizon Wireless Arena.

The Goodwill Clothing Drive will take place on March 4 (7 p.m.) when the Monarchs play the Orlando Solar Bears in the Jungle.

On March 5 (7 p.m.), the Monarchs will host American Pride Night, sponsored by AutoFair. Red, White and Blue mini-sticks for the first 4,000 patriotic fans will be given out, courtesy of NH1 and Monkey Sports.
